Ariana Grande secures her sixth No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with her latest release, “Eternal Sunshine.”
The album enters the chart on March 23, making a grand entrance by accumulating 227,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. during the week ending March 14, according to data from Luminate.
This impressive debut places “Eternal Sunshine” at the top spot and marks the largest opening week for any album in 2024.
Ariana Grande Chart Success:
This latest achievement adds to Grande’s remarkable track record on the Billboard 200. Before “Eternal Sunshine,” Grande had already claimed the No. 1 position on five occasions with her previous albums: “Positions” (2020), “Thank U, Next” (2019), “Sweetener” (2018), “My Everything” (2014), and “Yours Truly” (2013).
Billboard 200 Chart Methodology:
Based on multi-metric consumption, the Billboard 200 chart ranks the most famous albums in the United States for the week. This includes album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA), and streaming equivalent albums (SEA), all measured in equivalent album units.
Each unit represents one album sale, ten individual tracks sold from an album, or a specific number of ad-supported or paid/subscription on-demand official audio and video streams generated by songs from an album.
Upcoming Chart Release:
