“Gothic Summer” is due for launch worldwide on March 22 through Big Noise Music Group.

Australian pop duo The Veronicas are gearing up to release their latest album, “Gothic Summer,” marking their first project under Big Noise Music Group.

Album Details

“Gothic Summer” is set to drop worldwide on March 22 and will feature previously released tracks such as “Perfect,” “Detox,” and “Here to Dance.”

The eight-track LP was produced by John Feldmann, known for his work with Goldfinger, and features collaborations with Travis Barker, Sierra Deaton, and others. According to the announcement, the album pushes the duo to explore a broader musical range.

The Veronicas’ Background

Identical twin sisters Lisa and Jessica Origliasso form The Veronicas, hailing from Brisbane.

With five studio albums under their belt, all reaching the ARIA top 10, and multiple chart-topping singles in Australia, including “Hook Me Up” and “You Ruin Me,” the duo has established themselves as prominent figures in the Australian music scene.

Reception in the U.S.

Their track “Untouched” achieved success in the U.S., reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2007. The Veronicas’ combined streams across their catalog exceed 900 million.

Excitement for Collaboration

Speaking about their signing with Big Noise Music Group, Jess expressed excitement about being the label’s first female-fronted signing, noting that they felt the label was a perfect fit for The Veronicas.

Album Themes

“Gothic Summer” promises to delve into introspection and challenge societal norms, shedding light on deeper truths beneath the surface of pop music.

Upcoming Performances

In support of the album, The Veronicas will perform at the Hello Sunshine Festival in Melbourne on March 2, followed by a 22-date U.S. headline tour, marking their first tour in the country in almost a decade.

Tracklist:

  1. Perfect
  2. Detox
  3. Here To Dance
  4. Savage (Ft. Kerser)
  5. Invisible
  6. Ribcage
  7. Jungle
  8. Perfect (Acoustic)

With a diverse lineup of collaborators and a promise to deliver introspective themes, “Gothic Summer” sets the stage for The Veronicas to make a bold return to the spotlight and captivate audiences worldwide.
