Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds are set to embark on a tour across the U.K. and Europe later this year, showcasing their latest album, “Wild God,” the band’s 18th studio release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The alternative rock ensemble will launch their Continental European tour on September 24 at Rudolf Weber-Arena in Oberhausen, Germany. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The tour will span several months, with a lineup of U.K. dates scheduled for November. The final show is slated for November 17 at Accor Arena in Paris, France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will use their previously announced tour of Australia in April and May as a springboard for their northern hemisphere run. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The anticipation is high as Cave expresses excitement about performing the songs from “Wild God” live, describing the record as made for the stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Wild God” will be released on August 30 via Cave’s own label, Bad Seed, under a new worldwide licensing agreement with Play It Again Sam, a subsidiary of the independent [PIAS] label group. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Cave emphasizes the album’s raw energy and emotional depth, indicating that it hits hard and resonates deeply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The current lineup of Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds includes Thomas Wydler, Martyn Casey, Jim Sclavunos, George Vjestica, and longtime collaborator Warren Ellis, who also produces “Wild God.” <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The album features contributions from Radiohead’s Colin Greenwood on bass and Luis Almau on guitars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
