“Paranoid” stands as a cornerstone of the heavy metal genre. Serving as the title track of Black Sabbath’s 1970 LP, the song soared to No. 4 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart and No. 61 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite its enduring popularity, “Paranoid” was crafted swiftly in the studio. Bass player Geezer Butler revealed in a 2004 interview with Guitar World that the song was conceived in merely five minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
